On Wednesday 25th October 2023, the Mampong Municipal Assembly held its first durbar for staff for the year 2023. The purpose for the durbar was for staff to meet and discuss issues relating to their work.
The ceremony began with an opening prayer and an opening remark from the Municipal Coordinating Director; Alhaji Mohammed Mumuni. He expressed his gratitude to all staff for attending the meeting and honoring the invitation to attend such an important ceremony. He expressed his appreciation to all staff for their immense participation in the performance contract assessment and DPAT assessment. He also mentioned that there has been a massive improvement in logistics for all departments of the assembly and urged all staff to translate the provided logistics into increased efficiency, higher production rate and improved customer service. He lastly urged staff to abreast themselves with the service delivery standards and the code of conduct for staff of the local government service and also be punctual to work.
There was an open forum for staff to express their views and opinions on general issues. Staff expressed their views on attendance, training and workshop, staff motivation amongst others.
The District Coordinating Director in his closing remarks expressed his gratitude to all staff and wished them well in their various endeavors.
