Mampong Municipal Assembly (MMA)
Mampong Municipal Assembly exists to raise the living standard of the people through the formulation and implementation of policies, programmes and activities in support of Agriculture, Education, infrastructure, Health and other socio-economic activities by skilled and highly motivated staff in partnership with the private sector, Traditional Authorities, NGOS and CBOs and the various communities.
The Mampong Municipal Assembly, being the highest planning, administrative and rating authority, mandated with the responsibility to develop the Municipality prepared a four {4} Municipal Medium Term Development Plan (MMTDP 2014-2017) which served as a guide and development path for the Municipal Development Agenda. The MMTDP (2014-2017), was prepared based on the National Development Policy framework document (Ghana Shared Growth and Development Agenda II (GSGDA 11). The Municipal Plan was prepared based on the seven (7) major thematic areas of the GSGDA 11 namely:
- Ensuring and sustaining
- Macroeconomic stability
- Enhancing competiveness in Ghana’s private Sector
- Accelerated agriculture modernization and sustainable Natural Resource Management
- Oil and Gas Development
- Infrastructure, Energy and Human Settlements
- Human Development, productivity and Employment
- Transparent and accountable governance.
What Service We Offer
Social Welfare
MMA Offers a variety of Social Services to assist individuals in need or at risk
Building Plans/Permit
Persons intending to put up or build structures can come to MMA to obtain their building or temporary structures permit
Disaster Relief
Victims of disasters like flood, wild fire, heavy rain, etc can visit the NADMO office of MMA for support or relief items
Birth/Death Certificate
Parents can obtain birth certificates for their children at MMA and bereaved individuals can also acquire death certificates for their dearly departed
Marriage Certificate
Couples seeking to tire the knot can come to MMA for their marriage ceremony and certificate.
Sanitation Services
MMA is here for all your sanitation related activities.
