The Mampong Municipal Assembly has held a staff meeting to formally introduce its newly posted Municipal Coordinating Director (MCD), Ms. Esther Abaching to members of staff. The meeting brought together the Municipal Chief Executive, heads of departments and units, as well as general staff of the Assembly, to officially welcome the new Director and provide an opportunity for interaction.
In his remarks, the Hon. Municipal Chief Executive Hon. Issifu Yakubu highlighted the critical role of the Coordinating Director in ensuring effective administration, coordination of departmental activities, and implementation of government policies at the local level.
Ms. Esther Abaching expressed appreciation for the warm reception and assured staff of his commitment to professionalism, teamwork, punctuality and efficient service delivery. She emphasized the importance of collaboration among departments and encouraged staff to work together to achieve the Assembly’s development goals.
Staff members also took the opportunity to share their expectations and reaffirm their support for the new leadership. The meeting served as a platform to strengthen internal coordination and align staff towards a common vision for the growth and development of the municipality.
The Assembly reaffirmed its commitment to building a strong and effective administrative structure capable of delivering quality services and promoting sustainable development within Mampong Municipality.
