The Civil and Local Government Staff Association, Ghana, with support from the Electoral Commission of Ghana, has successfully conducted its executive membership elections in the municipality.
The elections, held on 16th April 2026, were conducted in a peaceful, transparent, and well-organized manner, ensuring credibility and fairness throughout the process. At the end of the exercise, Mr. Kwabena Menkah, the Human Resource Manager, was elected as Organizer, while Mr. Emmanuel Arthur, the Municipal Budget Analyst, emerged as the Chairman.
The involvement of the Electoral Commission contributed significantly to the integrity of the process, reinforcing confidence among members and ensuring adherence to established electoral procedures. Members commended the orderly conduct of the elections and the spirit of unity demonstrated.
In their acceptance remarks, the newly elected executives expressed gratitude for the trust reposed in them and pledged to work diligently to promote staff welfare, strengthen collaboration, and uphold professionalism within the Association.
The successful conduct of the elections marks a key milestone in enhancing effective leadership and representation within CLOGSAG at the municipal level.
