
The Mampong Municipal Assembly has successfully organized a stakeholder engagement meeting aimed at strengthening collaboration between the Assembly, stakeholders, and members of the community towards the development of the municipality.
The engagement brought together traditional authorities, assembly members, heads of departments, community leaders, youth groups, traders, shop owners, unit committee leaders, religious leaders, and representatives from various institutions within the municipality. The meeting served as a platform for participants to discuss developmental challenges, share ideas, and propose practical solutions to improve the living conditions of residents.

Speaking at the event, officials of the Assembly emphasized the importance of community participation in local governance and development planning. They noted that stakeholder engagement remains an important tool in promoting transparency, accountability, and inclusive decision-making within the municipality.

Key issues discussed during the meeting included sanitation management, education, healthcare delivery, road infrastructure, revenue mobilization, and youth empowerment. Community members were encouraged to actively contribute to discussions and support initiatives aimed at improving socio-economic development in the municipality.
The Assembly further assured participants that concerns and recommendations raised during the engagement would be carefully considered and incorporated into future developmental plans and policies. Stakeholders also commended the Assembly for creating an open platform that allows citizens to voice their opinions and contribute to the growth of the municipality.
